HAF clubs continue to build the daily mile into the routine and share this with families to encourage the whole family to improve their health and wellbeing.
The Southend Forward Motion team continue to support the HAF programme in summer and Easter programmes. The team bring a range of bikes to the venues as this removes the barrier of needing to own a bike and ensures the session is inclusive. They deliver a range of sessions to suit the age and abilities.
Our HAF providers are experienced at adapting activities to meet children’s individual needs and coaching them in a safe space. We are confident they are meeting the daily guidelines; pupils are returning to school with new skills and ready to learn.
