Introduction to the Little Steps Health Visiting Team
Who we are
The Little Steps Health Visiting team support young parents aged 21 years and under expecting their first child. The team consists of a health visitor and a community nursery nurse.
What we do
Every child under 5 years old has a named health visitor who offers support from pregnancy through to primary school to ease some of the worries of being a parent and to support your family’s health.
You and your baby will be offered routine contacts by the Little steps team as part of the healthy child program which include health and development reviews during the early years.
Things we can support with include caring for baby, growth, and development as well as parent emotional well-being.
