The THRIVE Framework

There is a range of Emotional wellbeing and mental health support for children and young people.

The services on these pages are presented according to a model called the THRIVE Framework, which shows the support available at different levels of need.

At the centre of the framework is Thriving. If a child or young person requires support with their emotional wellbeing or mental help, it can be given at different levels depending on their needs:

  • Getting Advice (also known as Universal Support)
  • Getting Help (also known as Tier 1 Support)
  • Getting More Help (also known as Tier 2 Support)
  • Getting Risk Support (also known as Tier 3 Support)
