Proposal for an Additional Resource Base at Earls Hall Primary School
Southend-on-Sea City Council has sought views on a proposal to establish a new Additional Resource Base (ARB) at Earls Hall Primary School.
The proposed ARB would provide specialist support for up to 21 pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) whose primary need is Communication and Interaction, including pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and speech, language and communication needs.
Subject to approval, the Additional Resource Base is expected to open in phases from September 2026, initially supporting Nursery and Key Stage 1 pupils.
The consultation deadline was 3 July 2026.
