Developments to and usage of the SEND Local Offer channel on Livewell Southend

This section has details about developments to and usage of the SEND Local Offer channel of Livewell Southend between 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Developments and improvements

Local Offer landing page changes:

Removed respite from the Short Breaks button as content only relates to Short Breaks currentl
Highlighted read aloud functionality
Moved the “what is SEND” information higher up the page to make it more prominent.
Removed some unnecessary text so the page is shorter when viewed on a mobile device

New information pages developed:

Other developments:

104 new service directory records created. 12 of these were informed by Short Breaks grant applications. 23 were informed by feedback from young people about services they use. Some of the records were added to universal sections of the Livewell Southend website rather than directly to the Local Offer section.

Audience and demographics (user acquisition):

It should be noted that the figures below only relate to those who have agreed for Google to share their data.

Total Users (45,655): The total number of unique users who have logged an event. This metric is an approximation.
New Users (73,333): The number of users who interacted with your site or launched your app for the first time. This metric is an approximation.

29, 426 (64.4%) users came from organic searches, followed by 7, 613 (16.66%) from referrals (other websites). 6, 996 (15.31%) came from direct channels, and 1, 332 (2.91%) came from social media.

33, 855 users visited from a mobile phone; 11,152 from a desktop device; and 629 from a tablet.
