Support and provision of information and advice
The Local Offer team use various methods to provide information and advice to families and professionals:
- via the SEND Local Offer section of the Livewell Southend website
- through a SEND Information Day.
- through attendance at stakeholder and partnership community events
- through engagement and attendance at stakeholder or partnership community events (see the events section)
- through monthly SEND Surgeries
- through half-termly Your Local Offer Your Way sessions.

- through the SEND Local Offer page on Your Say Southend
- by phone and email. There has been another increase in phone calls and emails received in 2025 compared to 2024. In 2025, 126 phone calls were received, compared to 95 in 2024 (an increase of 31 calls - 28% increase); and 95 emails were received, compared to 74 in 2024 (an increase of 21 emails - 28% increase)
