Cake Club held two Holiday SEND Club sessions in the October half term week (on 29 and 31 October), thanks to funding from the Short Breaks grant.
Across the two sessions Cake Club supported 13 families. We had various activities on offer and it was lovely to see so many families, including those with school age siblings who we haven't seen for a while!
Cake Club SEND Club is aimed a parents with little ones with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), whether or not they have a formal diagnosis.
Sessions are held at St Mary's East Hall, Prittlewell, part of St Mary's Centre; a fully accessible venue, with purpose-built sensory rooms and a bright, airy, welcoming space for parents to come together to support one another.
