Your Local Offer, your way sessions

The SEND Local Offer section of the Livewell Southend website is your guide to services and support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) living in Southend. We want to make sure it is your `go-to` resource, and that the information on it is clear and easy to find.

Your Local Offer Your Way sessions are held every half term. They are an opportunity for you to tell us what information you need, so that we can make sure the Local Offer is working for you. Young people with SEND, parent carers and professionals are all welcome to attend.

Future sessions

At these next sessions we will focus on continuing the development of a visual routemap for the process of early identification of SEND and support for SEND in schools. This follows on from a Southend SEND Independent Forum (SSIF) Seminar where we started the work, but you do not need to have attended the SSIF Seminar to join in - everyone is welcome to attend.
