Description

The Southend Youth Support Service runs a range of activities and youth clubs for children and young people across the city during term time and some school holidays.

Activities include sports, arts and crafts, team games, themed activities and day trips. All activities are free.

Our offer includes groups for young carers and children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilites (SEND).

Shoeburyness Youth and Community Centre

  • Internediates Youth Club for 12 to 16 year olds - Mondays 3.30pm to 5.30pm
  • Young Carers group for 8 to 11 year olds (COOL Club) - Tuesdays 4.15pm to 6.15pm
  • Young Carers group for 12 to 16 year olds (CHIL Club) - Tuesdays 6.30pm to 8.30pm
  • Juniors Youth Club for 8 to 11 year olds - Wednesdays 3.30pm to 5.30pm
  • Seniors Youth Club for 12 to 16 year olds - Wednesdays 7pm to 9pm
  • JINGAS (Juniors Inclusive Games and Social Night) session for children and young people with SEND aged 12 to 16 - Thursdays 5.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Juniors Youth Club for 10 to 13 year olds - Fridays 3.30pm to 5.30pm
  • Seniors Youth Club for 14 to 19 year olds (or up to 25 if SEND) - Fridays 7pm to 9pm

  • Juniors Youth Club for 8 to 11 year olds - Tuesdays 3.30pm to 4.30pm
  • Seniors Youth Club for 12 to 16 year olds - Tuesdays 6pm to 8pm
  • Internediates Youth Club for 12 to 16 year olds -Wednesdays 3.30pm to 5.30pm
  • SENDsocial (inclusive social night). A calm social group for older young people and those with SEND aged 16 to 25 years old - Thursdays 7pm to 9pm
  • Cluny Juniors for 8 to 11 year olds - Fridays 3.30pm to 5.30pm
