South Essex Community Hub (SECH) is a registered charity set up to support the communities of South Essex and enable them to thrive. They promote and strengthen community cohesion and lend a helping hand in their Hubs through:
- Digital Inclusion and Benefit support - helping people to develop digital skills and confidence.
- Housing and Homelessness support - face to face support and help to navigate systems and processes
- Community Development - SECH aims to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of communities.
- Information support - support for people to access information and find details of local services.
- Volunteering, training and life skills - providing volunteer opportunities and free life skills training sessions
- Cost of Living
- Emergency Food Support
They also provide services for children and young people through the SECH Youth Hub. The Youth Hub provides a safe and positive environment for young people with meaningful actvities to support well-being and mental health. You can watch a video about the Youth Hub on the website.

Opening times for the Help In Hub in the Victoria Shopping Centre are Monday to Friday 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm.
