Home Start Essex is an independent charity and part of the Home Start UK Network. The service aims to give children the best possible start in life by supporting parents and caregivers to:
- feel less isolated
- build confidence in themselves and their parenting
- find ways to manage the challenges they face
They build trusting, helpful relationships with families and deliver a range of flexible support to meet their individual needs. This includes:
- volunteer-led home visiting
- family groups
- wellbeing services
- school-readiness
- behaviour support programmes
