SEND Information Days

Southend SEND Information Days were introduced to raise awareness of services and support available in Southend-on-Sea for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families.

They are open to families of children and young people with SEND, and professionals. The events enable attendees to meet and connect face to face with a number of local services, and to hear informative talks.

SEND Information Days are delivered in partnership by The Southend SEND Local Offer Team and Southend SEND Independent Forum (SSIF), the parent carer forum for Southend-on-Sea.

2 SEND Information Days have been hosted so far. The first was in November 2025 and the second in June 2026.
