SEND Surgeries

Thank you to parent carers who have already attended SEND Surgeries. The team were happy to provide support and answer your questions.

2022:

• 15 November - Shoeburyness Youth and Community Centre. Officers in attendance to support parent carers: members of the SEND Local Offer team, an EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan) Co-Ordinator, the Preparing for Adulthood team manager and a member of the Advisory SENCO team.
• 20 December - Centre Place Family Centre. Officers in attendance: a school age EHCP Co-Ordinator, a Preparing for Adulthoood EHCP Co-Ordinator and members of the SEND Local Offer Team.

2023:

• 17 January - Tickfield Centre. Officers in attendance: Southend SENDiass; the SEND Local Offer team; an Advisory SENCO and the Transport Entitlement Officer.
• 21 February - Southend Adult Community College. Officers in attendance: the SEND Local Offer team; an Advisory SENCO, the Preparing for Adulthood Manager, an EHCP Co-Ordinator and the Specialist School Nurse for SEN from the Public Health School Nursing Team
• 21 March - Autism Resource Base at Southend High School for Boys. Officers in attendance: the SEND Local Offer team; an Advisory SENCO, the EHCP SEND Casework Manager; the Transport Entitlement Officer and an officer from the Elective Home Education Team.
• 18 April - Shoeburyness Youth and Community Centre. Officers in attendance: the SEND Local Offer team; an Advisory SENCO and officers from SENDIASS.
• 16 May - The Tickfield Centre. Officers in attendance: the SEND Local Offer team; the Transport Entitlement Officer and an EHCP Co-Ordinator.
• 20 June - Westcliff Library. Officers in attendance: the SEND Local Offer team and an EHCP Co-Ordinator.
• 18 July - Southend Adult Community College. Oficers in attendance: the SEND Local Offer team, an Advisory SENCo and an EHCP Co-ordinator.
• 19 September - Leigh North Street Primary School. Oficers in attendance: the SEND Local Offer team, an Advisory SENCo, the Preparing for Adulthood Team Manager, the EHCP SEND Casework Manager, a SENDIASS officer and an Early Years SEND Support Worker.
• 17 October - Prince Avenue Academy and Nursery. Oficers in attendance: the SEND Local Offer team, school age EHCP Co-Ordinators, a Preparing for Adulthoood EHCP Co-Ordinator, the Designated Clinical Officer (DCO) and an Early Years SEN Advisor.
• 21 November - Greenways Primary School. Officers in attendance: representatives from the Lighthouse ASD Team, a representative from the Preparing for Adulthood team and the Early Years SEND Support Service, a school age EHCP Co-Ordinator, the Transport Entitlement Officer and the Local Offer team.
• 7 December - Centre Place Family Centre. Officers in attendance: school age and Preparing for Adulthood EHCP Co-Ordinators, members of the Early Years SEND Support Service and the SEND Local Offer team.

2024:

• 16 January - Eastwood primary school and Nursery. Officers in attendance: SEND Casework Manager, a member of the Preparing for Adulthood team, the Transport Entitlement Officer, the Local Offer team, a member of the Early Years SEND Support service, an officer from SENDIASS Southend and a member of staff from the Lighthouse ASD/Jigsaws Team.
• 6 February - Hinguar Primary School. Officers in attendance: a member of the Preparing for Adulthood team, the Transport Entitlement Officer, a member of the Elective Home Education Team, the Local Offer team and an Officer from SENDIASS Southend.
• 19 March - Shoeburyness High School. Officers in attendance: EHCP Co-ordinator, the Transport Entitlement Officer, a member of the Elective Home Education Team and the Local Offer team.
• 23 April - Shoeburyness Community and Youth Centre. Officers in attendanc: a member of the Preparing for Adulthood team, a member of the Elective Home Education Team, the Transport Entitlement Officer, the Local Offer team and members of the Lighthouse ASD/Jigsaws Team.
