Smooth transitions between education settings and phases of education are crucial for all children, but especially for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Early planning and collaboration are key to ensuring a successful move.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan, matters relating to the education setting they attend are overseen by the Southend-on-Sea City Council SEND Team. Please contact your childs EHC Case Coordinator or contact the team on 01702 215246 or by email at SENTeam@southend.gov.uk
