Frazzled meetings are facilitated by trained volunteers. They provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space where people can talk openly about how they are feeling. There is no pressure to share. Some people come to speak, some come simply to listen, and both are equally welcome.
The meetings will take place every Monday evening at Attic Cafe on Eastern Esplanade and are open to anyone aged 18 and over who is feeling stressed, overwhelmed, isolated, emotionally exhausted, or simply in need of somewhere to talk and be heard.
The meetings are peer support spaces. They are not therapy, counselling, clinical treatment, or advice sessions. They are about connection, honesty, and the relief that can come from sitting with other people who understand what it feels like when life is a lot.
Frazzled does not provide crisis support and the meetings are not suitable for anyone presenting in acute crisis or needing urgent clinical help. They can, however, sit alongside existing support for people who may benefit from a regular, welcoming space to talk and feel less alone.
We also run free online Frazzled meetings on Zoom, which follow the same model. These sessions open and close with a brief mindfulness exercise and provide a facilitated space for people to talk or listen in a small group.
