The IronWorks is Leigh-on-Sea's and wider Southend's vibrant community space, bringing people together through creativity, culture and connection. Now based in our new home at the Leigh Community Centre, we are proud to host a wide variety of free and low-cost events designed for everyone to enjoy.
From community dinners, live music and theatre-style performances, to comedy nights, immersive art experiences and cultural celebrations, there is always something happening at The Ironworks. We also run dedicated sessions and clubs for over 60s and people with additional needs, providing inclusive spaces to socialise, create and feel part of something special.
Families can enjoy kids' parties, our kids area, free crafts, workshops, and hands-on creative events, while local artists, performers and makers regularly showcase their talents on our stage and within our gallery spaces.
Whether you are looking for a night out, a creative experience, or simply a place to connect with others, The Ironworks offers something for everyone - a place where the community comes together.

Events are held for all ages, from babies and their guardians, up to older members of our community.

Club Tuesday is hosted every Tuesday evening, except the first Tuesday of the month from 6pm to 10pm, bringing adults with learning and or physical disabilities together to party and socialise in a safe and accessible setting. Cost £5. Carers go free.
IronWorks Additional Needs Performance Group is hosted on Friday from 12 to 1.30pm. Cost £5
