At Time and Space we are deeply committed to creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for adults and children with learning disabilities from 8 years plus. Our mission is to empower, support and inspire, fostering personal growth, building strong connections and providing valuable opportunities for development. We firmly believe in the power of inclusion and the boundless potential of every individual.
Our services:
- Educational programmes - we offer a range of educational programmes designed to promote personal growth and development. Our goal is to enhance skills, knowledge and self-confidence
- Support Services - we are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each individual, offering personal care, communication support, and assistance in daily activities
- Recreational activities - we prioritise the importance of fun and relaxation. Our recreational activities provide opportunities for leisure and social interaction
- Community engagement - we actively engage with the wider community to promote understanding and acceptance of individuals with learning disabilities
Our facilities include:
- The Mouse House - a unique, fully functional training house designed to support adults in their journey toward independent living. From basic skills like opening the front door to more complex tasks like housework and cooking, we provide one-on-one guidance and support
- The Shepherds Hut - a calming retreat offering a serene and cozy escape for those in need of a calm, safe space. We understand the importance of having a designated area for relaxation and time-out for those with learning disabilities
- The Pods - a unique overnight glamping experience for children and young adults with autism and learning disabilities. The Pods are a space to learn, explore, socialise and grow. Whether it's helping to prepare meals, learning new daily living skills, spending time outdoors, making choices independently or simply enjoying an evening around the fire with friends, every stay is designed to encourage confidence, personal development and a sense of achievement. The experience can be supported by our team or alongside a parent, carer or support worker, depending on individual needs.

The Pods are designed exclusively for children and young adults with autism and learning disabilities and are not open to the general public. Overnight stays are arranged through referral and the young person's existing support and funding arrangements.
Families who feel The Pods could benefit their child or young adult should speak with their social worker, support co-ordinator or funding provider about a referral to Time and Space.
