Our school was owned and run by the Wilcox family. They ran it for 111 years. In 2015 they gifted the school to a charitable trust.
The school was in Westcliff but moved to Thorpe Bay.The Pre-Prep is in one of the original buildings in Imperial Avenue. It is the perfect environment in which to grow, learn and work.

We are Ofsted registered. Ofsted inspect our buildings to ensure they are safe and secure for children. All of our staff have completed:
- an enhanced DBS check.
- First Aid training
- Safeguarding training
We provide a fully insured service to give you peace of mind. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to ensure that your child can learn and develop well, and is healthy and safe.
Inclusive Childcare:
We offer full-time or part-time childcare for children aged 0 up to 5 years. All children are welcome. We treat all children and their families with respect. We aim to meet the specific needs of each child in our care.
Affordable childcare including:
- free early education sessions for 2, 3 and 4 year old children.
