Southend Mencap Showstoppers - SEND events and activities

Weekly sessions for anyone with a learning disability aged 16 years and over.

Through the study of drama we aim to promote confidence and enjoyment and develop self-expression, self-awareness, friendship and cooperation within a fun, safe and trusting environment.

Students are offered the opportunity to be fully involved in the planning and preparation of the sessions.

Carers welcome to stay but essential where health and/or medication dictates.

Please bring own lunch but drinks will be provided during sessions.

Sessions run during term time (39 weeks) plus some in the summer holidays as well. 10am to 3.30pm for each session:

• Tuesdays – St Laurence Church Hall, Eastwoodbury Lane, Eastwood
• Wednesdays – St John Fisher Church, Priory Crescent, Southend
• Thursdays – Highlands Methodist Church, Sutherland Boulevard, Leigh

£35 per person per day or £17.50 per half day.
