- Description

DIAL stands for Disablement Information and Advice line.
We offer a confidential disability information, advice and advocacy service to people with any type of disability, carers or anybody with a disability related issue.
We offer help on any subject, including benefits, mobility, leisure, aids and adaptations.
We operate some outreach advice, home visiting, appeals and casework representation along with income maximisation, benefit applications and financial issues. We are able to help our clients whose first language is not English by using interpreters (by appointment only).
Our staff are fully trained. Most of our staff and volunteers are disabled and understand what our clients are going through as many have been in the same situation themselves.
