What is a baby and toddler group?
Baby and toddler groups welcome any carer including;
- parents
- friends
- relatives
- foster Carers
- childminders
- nannies
Young children can enjoy their first experiences of;
- having fun
- making friends
- learning
It is away from their homes but they have the security of a known adult. These adults can share these learning experiences.
The groups are also a place where the community can come together. Some groups may have a small charge and some are free. Please check with the service first.
How old should my child be?
Most of these groups cater for the under fives and you can take your child along as soon as you wish although some do operate a waiting list.
