We would like to hear from unpaid carers living in Southend-on-Sea, or those who are caring for someone who lives in Southend-on-Sea.
Our current caring well strategy runs until 2027 and sets out how we support unpaid carers in Southend-on-Sea. Before a full refresh takes place in 2028, we are carrying out a mini refresh to understand what is working well, what could be improved, and what matters most to unpaid carers now.
By unpaid carer, we mean someone who provides unpaid support to a family member, partner, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their help. This may be due to illness, disability, mental health needs, addiction, frailty or age-related needs.
Your feedback will help shape the priorities for carers in Southend-on-Sea for 2027 - 2028. The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will be treated confidentially and will be used to identify themes and priorities.
