The Southend-on-Sea SEND Team hold monthly SEND Surgeries. The sessions provide families with a friendly and informal opportunity to drop-in, talk to professionals and receive information and advice.
If you are a parent carer of a child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities, we know that it can be difficult finding your way through the system and getting clear information and answers to questions.
To support families, the Southend Council SEND Team hold monthly SEND Surgery events in locations across Southend. Surgeries give families an opportunity to drop in, ask questions and receive help about a range of areas.
- Thursday 11 December 2025. Greenways Primary School, Greenways, Southend-On-Sea SS1 3BS
People that will be in attendance at this surgery include representatives from the Early Years SEND Support team, Specialist Teaching Service, Preparing for Adulthood team, the Lighthouse ASD/Jigsaws team, SENDIASS, School Nursing Service, Southend SEND Independent Forum (SSIF) and the Local Offer team.
