The Southend-on-Sea SEND Team hold monthly SEND Surgeries. The sessions provide families with a friendly and informal opportunity to drop-in, talk to professionals and receive information and advice.
If you are a parent carer of a child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities, we know that it can be difficult finding your way through the system and getting clear information and answers to questions.
To support families, the Southend Council SEND Team hold monthly SEND Surgery events in locations across Southend. Surgeries give families an opportunity to drop in, ask questions and receive help about a range of areas.
- Monday 17 November 2025. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School, Manchester Drive, Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 3HS
People that will be in attendance at this surgery include representatives from the Specialist Teaching Service, Preparing for Adulthood team, EHCP team, Supporting Families team, School Nursing Service, Bladder and Bowel Service, Southend SEND Independent Forum (SSIF) and the Local Offer team.
