The Southend-on-Sea SEND Team hold monthly SEND Surgeries. The sessions provide families with a friendly and informal opportunity to drop-in, talk to professionals and receive information and advice.

If you are a parent carer of a child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities, we know that it can be difficult finding your way through the system and getting clear information and answers to questions.

To support families, the Southend Council SEND Team hold monthly SEND Surgery events in locations across Southend. Surgeries give families an opportunity to drop in, ask questions and receive help about a range of areas.

  • Wednesday 24 September 2025. Hamstel Family Centre, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 4PQ.
