A voluntary programme that supports Essex residents aged 18 plus (people aged 16 plus have to be on Universal Credit and are accepted under 'exceptional circumstances') and not part of a Department for Work and Pensions employment programme, who are either:
- in work but at risk of losing their job
- actively looking for employment and experiencing complex barriers to employment. These may include:
- a disability or a long-term health condition
- care leaver / care experienced young person
- domestic abuse survivors
- carers or ex-carers
- homeless people
- people with current or previous drug or alcohol dependency
Support for participants includes:
- personalised one-to-one support
- training opportunities
- help with job searching and applications
- in-work retention support
- health and wellbeing support
