Description

A voluntary programme that supports Essex residents aged 18 plus (people aged 16 plus have to be on Universal Credit and are accepted under 'exceptional circumstances') and not part of a Department for Work and Pensions employment programme, who are either:

  • in work but at risk of losing their job
  • actively looking for employment and experiencing complex barriers to employment. These may include:
  • a disability or a long-term health condition
  • care leaver / care experienced young person
  • domestic abuse survivors
  • carers or ex-carers
  • homeless people
  • people with current or previous drug or alcohol dependency

Support for participants includes:

  • personalised one-to-one support
  • training opportunities
  • help with job searching and applications
  • in-work retention support
  • health and wellbeing support
