Bricks 4 Kidz is an educational programme of activities, providing children and young people with disabilites from ages 4 plus, the opportunity to play and socialise with friends while learning the fundamentals of engineering, mechanics and maths in a non-competitive setting, through LEGO®.
The aim of the Bricks 4 Kidz programme is to build problem-solving skills, provide an opportunity for creative expression and foster an appreciation of how things work. It also helps children and young peole improve a range of skills, including following instructions, team working, counting, communication and improving fine motor skills.
Children and young people learn through play clubs using LEGO® Bricks. Workstations include a number of different LEGO® activities, using LEGO® duplo, Motorised Technic LEGO®, Mosaics and 3D Builder.
