Blossoms provides stay and plays, activities, and opportunities for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), complex needs and their families in Essex.
At Blossoms, we are passionate about creating a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Based in Southend-on-Sea, we exist to fill a vital gap in activities and support for children with SEND, complex needs, and their families. We know that finding inclusive, accessible, and meaningful opportunities can be a challenge, and that is where we come in.
Blossoms was founded on the belief that every child deserves to play, learn, and connect in a safe and supportive environment. Our sessions are designed to nurture confidence, creativity, and joy-tailored with care to meet individual needs. But we are not just here for the children, we are here for the whole family, providing a sense of community, understanding, and encouragement every step of the way.
Blossoms stay and plays are located at a special needs school, Kingsdown School, in Southend-on-Sea. Each session provides tailored activities for children of all ability and ages including a soft play area, sensory lights and sensory play, wheelchair swing, messy play, arts and crafts, wheelchair bikes and trikes, outdoor spaces, volunteer led activities and so much more. Sessions are tailored to child's age and ability. Siblings welcome.
