A `big screen` cinema experience especially for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

2025 shows:

  • Saturday 6 September 2025 - IF (Imaginary Friends). 10.30am to 12.10pm (doors open 10am) or 2pm to 3.40pm (doors open 1.30pm)
  • Saturday 18 October 2025 - Dolphin Boy. 10.30am to 11.55am (doors open 10am) or 2pm to 3.25pm (doors open 1.30pm)
  • Saturday 8 November 2025 - Superklaus. 10.30am to 12pm (doors open 10am) or 2pm to 3.30pm (doors open 1.30pm)

2026 shows:

  • Saturday 10 January 2026 - Rebellious. 10.30am to 12pm (doors open 10am) or 2pm to 3.30pm (doors open 1.30pm)
  • Saturday 7 February 2026 - Cats in the Museum. 10.30am to 11.55am (doors open 10am) or 2pm to 3.25pm (doors open 1.30pm)
  • Saturday 7 March 2026 - Panda Bear in Africa. 10.30am to 12pm (doors open 10am) or 2pm to 3.30pm (doors open 1.30pm)

Admission is free. This activity is supported by funding from the Southend-on-Sea City Council Short Breaks Main Access Grant 2025/26.

Age range

Children of all ages. While the films are aimed at younger children, anyone who a parent carer feels might benefit is welcome to come along.

Children attend the film shows with their parent carers. Siblings are very welcome too.
