It is important that local NHS services understand the needs of people with a learning disability and/or autism in their area, so that they can make sure people receive the right support.
Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) must develop and maintain registers to identify people with a learning disability and/or autism who display, or are at risk of developing, behaviour that challenges, or mental health conditions which are most likely to be at risk of admission.
